Neighborhood, is a structured, seven-day-a-week
therapeutic activity-based program. The goal
of our program is to help residents lead a
meaningful life. We distinguish ourselves by
offering the care that every senior deserves and
the care that every family member can trust.
Every member of our staff is specially educated in the care of residents with dementia. This training includes a focus on:
- Understanding dementia
- Effective communication
- Assisting with daily living
- Understanding behaviors
- Stress management
The goal of our program is to help residents lead a meaningful and dignified life. We distinguish ourselves by offering the care that every senior deserves and the care that every family member can trust. Every resident receives a C.A.R.E. Assessment that consists of a comprehensive evaluation given either prior to admission or within three days afterwards.
Comprehensive assessment that includes physical, cognitive, medication, and psychosocial components.
Ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) as determined by a functional assessment.
Recreation & Relaxation
Includes aspects of past & present hobbies, interests, & preferences.
Emotional. Includes aspects of personality, behaviors, spirituality, social supports, & relationships.
